Nancy L. Jones

Nancy L. Jones, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at age 65. She was born in Milwaukee on June 27, 1950 the daughter of Ervin Gierach and Shirley (nee Hudson) Meyer. Nancy worked as an optician for many years, first at Lenscrafters and then for Herslof. She was a great cook, loved family cookouts, going to Packer and Brewer games and keeping up on the latest fashion trends. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and family.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 28 years Dave Jones of Waukesha, her children, Shelly (Scott) Weston, John Jones, Marc Jones and Jennifer Jones all of Waukesha and her grandchildren who she loved to spoil, Jaden, Jose, Dominick, Hailey, Jessica, Amya and Jovanna. She is further survived by her brothers, Kevin (Sherry) Gierach of Mesa, AZ, Warren (Sue) Meyer of Wilmot, her sister Jan (Bill) Pease of Waukesha, her step-father Leon Meyer of Waukesha along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Ervin Gierach and her mother Shirley Meyer.

Visitation will be he ld on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will take place Thursday, March 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery entrance off Prairie Avenue.
