Olive Spreng

Olive “Ollie” Spreng of Laramie, Wyoming, a bright-eyed, friendly, and creative lady recently died on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at LindenGrove in Waukesha at the age of 92.  She was born on August 11, 1916 in England, the daughter of George and Ellen (Dix) Hurn.  Ollie married Frederick Spreng II and lived around the world with him through his military career.  Ollie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Carol Brose of Wyoming; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Spreng of Waukesha, and other relatives which included her grandchildren, their spouses, and great-grandchildren:  the Tom Flannigan family of Waukesha, Rick (Bethany) Spreng of Orlando, FL, Eric (Neil Palmer) Brose of Cincinnati, OH, and Meredith (Mark) Eidem of San Jose, CA.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Frederick “Dewey” Spring III, and son-in-law, Mark Brose.
