Pamela M. Colon of Waukesha won her battle against cancer and gained her ultimate reward of eternal life on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at AngelsGrace Hospice at age 43. She was born in Waukesha on February 28, 1976. Pam was an incredibly talented hair stylist for 20 years in the Waukesha area where she proudly served her many friends and family who meant the world to her and she dearly loved. She fought her battle with cancer with the same passion and devotion she had for her work and she couldn’t be kept away from the salon. She will always be remembered for her zest for life and love for her family, friends and many clients.
She will be sadly missed by her husband and soulmate, Edwin of Waukesha, their children, Luis (Michelle) and Stephanie (Sam), her parents, Jeff and Yvonne Liesenfeld and Richard and Peggy Paynter, her mother-in-law Ana Rivera, brother Jason Liesenfeld and sister Kalie (Mike) Bowers, brother-in-law Jose (Rosa), sisters-in-law Anita (Edwin) and Carmen (Jose) and her precious grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Helena, Luis, Temi and Raedyn. She is further survived by her grandmother Elaine Weber, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and so many loving friends and clients. She was preceded in death by her sister Tammy Terrell, brother Jonathan Paynter and father-in-law Ruben Colon.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mohammad Raza and Dr. Kelly Cooke, nurses Allie and Lisa at the UW Cancer Center at ProHealth Care, the staff of ProHealth Care, the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and AngelsGrace Hospice.
Visitation will take place at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186 on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 3:00PM until the 5:30PM funeral service.
