Patricia A. Gorecki

Patricia “Pat” Ann Gorecki of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with her family by her side at age 81. She was born in Wausau on July 6, 1935 the daughter of Felix and Celia (nee Kozlowski) Sobkowiak. On April 28, 1956, she married James Gorecki. Pat worked for Republic Savings & Loan for many years in the accounts receivable department. She was a longtime member of St. William Catholic Church and of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion DJ Martin Post #8. Pat loved needlepoint, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and collecting teapots, but most of all she cherished the time spent with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Jim of Waukesha and their children, Curt (Barb) Gorecki of Rochester, MN, Chris (Patricia Lynn) Gorecki of Menomonee Falls and Judy (Greg) Clintsman of Waukesha. She was the proud grandmother of George Bacik, Lindsay Bacik, Joshua Gorecki, Jade Gorecki, Cathy Gorecki, James Gorecki and Ryan Gorecki and great-grandmother of Alyssa and Seth Gorecki. She is further survived by her sisters, Arlene (Robert) Bruess of Wausau and Donna (Donn) Doss of Idaho along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha. Reverend Curt Frederick will preside. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family to be designated towards charities close to their heart.
