Patricia Kennedy

Lifelong Waukesha resident Patricia J. Kennedy age 71, died peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Friday, June 15, 2007. She was born on July 6, 1935 to Henry "Hank" and Viola (nee: Coleman) Kennedy. Patricia was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was employed for many years at Waukesha County Council for Alcohol and other Drug Addiction (WCCAODA ). Patricia touched so many people through her work with the mentally ill, the alcohol and drug abuse program, the Jeremy House and the Hebron House. She enjoyed living at the East Terrance Apartments and will be dearly missed her friends and family. Survivors include her five children: Brenda ( John) Blake- Kreutzer of Waukesha; Tim (Theresa) Blake of Waukesha; Sheila (Ryan) Hunkins of Mukwonago; Lisa (Fred) Kopshinsky of Waukesha and Claudia Blake of Wausau; grandchildren: Tani, Jimmy, Daniel, Jessica, Amy, Michael, Stephanie & Cassandra and 4 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her mother, Viola Kennedy of Waukesha; her brothers, Robert Kennedy of Waukesha and Ronald (Beth) Kennedy of Pewaukee; and her beloved cat, Baby. She was preceded in death by her father Henry "Hank" Kennedy. Visitation and services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave. from 10:00 AM until the 12:00 PM (noon) Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Bill Key officiating.
