Paul L. Moll, of Waukesha, died on Monday, October 28, 2013, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. He was born in Brookfield, Wisc. on December 13, 1929, to parents Walter and Jule (née Eble) Moll. Paul was a 1947 graduate of Waukesha High School and continued his education at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. On May 26, 1956, he married Margaret Lumb. He and Margaret were devoted to each other until her death on December 4, 2011. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. Following his tenure with the Army, he worked at Plankington Meat Company and then for Wisconsin Bell as a systems analyst from 1961 until his retirement in 1990. Paul then worked part time for Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home from 1991 until 2008. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of American where he enjoyed volunteering with the Thursday Men’s Group and was a member of the American Legion DJ Martin Post #8. He enjoyed volunteering as a poll captain at various Waukesha election sites. Paul was an accomplished world traveler, avid collector, master gardener, enjoyed wildlife photography and loved animals, especially his Shelties. His superb attention to detail and the love he had for his home, hobbies and his life with Margaret truly came to life in their beautiful home and gardens.
He is survived by his sisters Marion (Don) Ayers of Pittsburg, Pa., and Alice Schreiber of Alma Center, Wisc.; nieces Judy Jensen of Bailey, Colo., Suzi Feldner of Waukesha, Karen Lumb of Pewaukee and Lori Janke of Hixton, Wisc.; nephews Steve Schreiber of Black River Falls, Wisc., Kenneth Schreiber of HIxton, Donny Ayers of Pittsburgh, Pa., Douglas Ayers of Tuscon, Ariz., Jim Doherty of Spring Green, Wisc., and Tom Doherty of Madison, Wisc., He is further survived by many other family members, friends, and his special four-legged friends, Nick and Duffy. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Margaret, his parents, brothers-in-law Morris and Roger Lumb, Harold Schreiber, and his nephew David Lumb.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:30 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial with full military honors will immediately follow at Jerusalem Cemetery in Wales.
