Oconomowoc-Long time Waukesha resident Phillip A. Woodin, age 83, died Friday, January 26, 2007 at AngelsGrace Hospice. He was born on June 5, 1923 in Lake Mills, Wisconsin to Phillip and Irene (Bredow) Woodin. Phillip was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army Air Corps. On December 22, 1943 he married the former Eva Lazeration. He attended Carroll College for 2 ½ years. He then worked at the former National Parts (Parts Hut) for 52 years. Mr. Woodin was a member of the First Congregational Church for 53 years and a member of the Waukesha Lodge of Elks #400. Phillip is survived by his wife of 61 years Eva of Waukesha; their children: Charles (Marli) Woodin of Big Bend and Sharon (Ronald) Kundinger of Brown Deer. He was a loving grandfather to Perry (Laura) Woodin of Albany, NY, Emily McDonald of Waukesha, Kevin Kundinger of Phoenix, AZ, Amy Kundinger of Brown Deer and great-grandfather to Haley McDonald. Other relatives and friends survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Juanita Schmidt and Margaret Sukup. Visitation for Mr. Woodin will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 So. Grand Avenue, Waukesha with an Elks Lodge of Sorrow service at 8:00 P.M. Visitation continues on Friday, February 2 from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. funeral service at the funeral home. A procession to Prairie Home Cemetery for the committal and burial, with full military honors, will follow the service.
