Phyllis C. Luedke, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 86 years. She was born in Milwaukee on July 7, 1927 the daughter of Orlando and Edna (nee Stelter) Seymer. She was an active member of the Rose-Harms American Legion Post 355 in Grafton for many years. Phyllis loved gardening and birds but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her son Michael Luedke of Waukesha, by grandchildren, James (Angela) Dornbrook and Mathew Dornbrook and her great-granddaughter Amanda Herron. She is further survived by her brothers, Roger (Shirley) Seymer, Nelson Seymer and Gerald (Marlene) Seymer, her sister Joyce Dornbrook along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Luedke, Sr., her daughter Susan Dornbrook, her son Charles Luedke, Jr., her granddaughter Barbara Luedke, her brothers Cyril, Donald, Glenn, Bob, Dick and her sister Sandy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at Christ the Life Ev. Lutheran Church, 3031 Summit Ave., Waukesha. Reverend Eric Edwards will preside. Graveside services will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
