Phyllis M. Trautman, of Waukesha, died on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at ManorCare of Pewaukee at the age of 85. She was born in Milwaukee on August 25, 1929 the daughter of Vernon and Ercel (nee Woodle) McGinness. Phyllis was an active and life member of the Soat-Vergenz VFW Post #721 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as President of the Auxiliary from 1967 until 1968. She enjoyed volunteering with the VFW, especially with Bingo and activities at LindenGrove. Phyllis volunteered at Lowell Elementary as a health room aide for many years. She was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Rosemary (Robert) Eckley of New London, WI, Brian (Kelly) Trautman of Waukesha, Marc Trautman of Waukesha and Scott Trautman of Waukesha. She was the dear grandmother of Steve (Shannon), Mark, Colin (fiancée Kari), Justin (fiancée Kendra), Chrissy (fiancé Nick) Eric (Teah), Heather (fiancé Brad) and Lance and great-grandmother of Issac, April and Devin. She is further survived by her sister Dorothy (Thomas) Sikora, her brother-in-law Richard Ostrowski and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Frank and Barbara Trautman along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry Trautman in 1990 along with her sister Joyce Ostrowski and infant brother Robert McGinness.

Visitation and services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha from 4:00PM until the time of the 6:00PM VFW Auxiliary Service followed by the religious funeral service at 6:30PM. Pastor Andy Fetters will preside. Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 17th at 11:00AM at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the funeral home at 10:00AM for the procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
