Priscilla E. Medina of Burlington formerly of Waukesha found peace on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at St. Luke’s Medical Center at the age of 34. She was born in Waukesha on October 11, 1984 the daughter of Oscar and Concepcion (nee Tamez) Medina. She was a 2003 graduate of Kettle Moraine High School. Priscilla enjoyed being in nature surrounded by animals. She was a huge country and Christian music fan and loved the color purple. She enjoyed cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and liked Hello Kitty and pandas. Throughout her many health battles, her fiancé Jake Salas was by her side, lovingly caring for her until her last breath.
Priscilla adored children and her final act of kindness was to give the gift of eyesight to two children through cornea donation.
She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted, fiancé Jake Salas, her mother Concepcion Medina, father Oscar (Jennifer) Medina, sisters Rubina Medina (Guadalupe) and Sophia Medina, brother Oscar Medina and grandparents Jose and Victoria Medina. She is further survived by her aunts and uncles, Juana Dora Gonzalez, Josephina “Josie” Dietscher, Gloria Tamez, Dora (John) Wonders, Salvador (Gail) Tamez, Pearl Tamez, Manuel (Debbie) Tamez, Theresa (Jerry) Wonders-Tamez, Margarita (Scott Feldt) Tamez, Santiago Tamez, San Juana (Roberto) Gonzalez, Alfred Medina, George (Christine) Medina, Mary Dischler, Angelina (Carlos) Conchi, Yolanda Medina and Carlos (Edna) Medina along with many cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Guillermo Tamez and Valentina Cervantes-Tamez, great-grandparents Felipe and Francisca Hernandez, uncle Pastor Joe Medina and cousin Nathaniel Alberto Medina.
Heartfelt appreciation is extended to the doctors, nurses and staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and the Coronary Intensive Care Unit, especially, Victoria, Linda, Sam, Kiersten, Megan and Amber for their kindness, compassion and care.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the 12:00 noon funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
