Randy L. Peabody

Randy Peabody, 63, of Waukesha, Wisconsin unexpectedly passed away on November 14, 2019.

Beloved husband of Laurie for over 20 years and loving father of daughter Amber (Brent). He is further survived by his mother Geraldine Peabody of Princeton, Wisconsin; his brothers Mark Peabody (DiAnne), Rollie Peabody (Gerrilynn); his sister Ronda Krystofiak (Jim); his in-laws Eugene and Judith Coggon and their daughter Vickie Penkert (Kevin). Proud uncle of nephews Ryan, Riley, Craig (Socorro), and Christopher; nieces Alexis, Gwen (Mark), Anna, and Mary; great-nephew Gavin. Randy was greeted at the gates of heaven by his father Ronald Peabody.

Born in Jamestown, North Dakota on October 12, 1956, Randy spent the early years of his life in the upper Midwest and had fond memories playing sports and enjoying outdoor activities. Randy was an accomplished swimmer in high school, holding state records for many years. He graduated from Janesville Parker High School in 1974 and received a degree in food sciences from MPTI-Fond du Lac. Randy lived and worked in many areas around Wisconsin initially as a chemist and other entrepreneurial professions before developing expertise as a computer software engineer and consultant. He was a true renaissance man with a vast array of talents, including musician/guitarist, fisherman, electrician, carpenter, mechanic, and storyteller. “Handy Randy’s” big heart was always there to help a friend in need and lovingly shared his craftsmanship, advice, and happy-go-lucky spirit. An avid Wisconsin sports fan, Randy was overwhelmingly passionate about the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks. He had an incredible sense of humor and infectious laugh that will be missed by all who knew him.

Randy’s passing leaves a heartache no one can heal, his love leaves a memory no one can steal. Please join us in honoring Randy in a celebration of life on Saturday, November 30, 2019, from 1:00PM – 5:00PM at Ironwood Golf Course (W270 N6166 Moraine Drive, Sussex, WI 53089).
