Ray C. Lyle, of Oconomowoc, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 15, 2014 at the age of 77. He was born in Chardon, Ohio on September 25, 1936 the son of Clyde and Marie (nee Rhodes) Lyle. On February 17, 1956 he married Barbara Hall in Waukesha. Ray worked for Borden Dairy and then retired from Industrial Towel and Uniform (ITU). He was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and Ohio State Buckeyes Fan.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Lyle of Oconomowoc and their children, Jeffrey Lyle of Grand Marsh, WI, Deborah (the late Phil) Mengel of Waukesha, Michael Lyle of Oconomowoc and Mark Lyle of Merton, his four grandchildren, Matthew (Jacquelyn) Mengel of Bayview, Allison (Jared) Knoke of Waukesha, Christine (fiancé John Brenner) Mengel of St. Louis, MO and Benjamin Lyle of Merton and two great-grandchildren, Braddock Mengel and Noah Knoke. He is further survived by his brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Linda (Charles) Farrell.
