Regina Ciura (nee Guziewicz) was born to Eternal Life on Monday, March 9, 2020 at the age of 89. She was born in Poland on January 12, 1931 the daughter of Antoni and Maria (nee Burzynski) Guziewicz. Regina was a devout Catholic and member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an avid Packer, Brewer and Bucks fan. Regina was an excellent cook, talented seamstress, crafter and crocheter and enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards, puzzles, wordsearches and feeding the birds and chasing away the squirrels. She treasured the time she was with her family whether in Wisconsin or Connecticut and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Teresa (Gerry) Luczak, Bernice (Jerry) Wiorek and Monica (Steve) Wasemiller. She was the proud Babcia of Adam Blayk, Anthony (Holly) Luczak, Maria (Brian) Douglass and Sarah Luczak and an adored Babcia Regina to seven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Romaulda Guziewicz, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruno and brother Josef Guziewicz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral Mass all at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.
