Renee M. Garcia

Renee M. Garcia, of Waukesha, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Monday, January 25, 2016 at her home at age 60. She was born in Marshfield, WI on September 28, 1955 the daughter of George and Lila (nee Hahn) Heinzen. She was a graduate of Marshfield Columbus Catholic High School and went on to earn a double major in criminal psychology and criminal justice from UW-Platteville. Renee worked at Ethan Allen for 21 years as a youth counselor and for 3 years at Rogers Memorial as a residential care technician. She loved to read, loved cats and dogs, enjoyed Egyptian and classical history and was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of almost 25 years, Alfredo Garcia of Waukesha and their son Alfredo G. Garcia II. She is further survived by her brother James (Rachel) Heinzen along with cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Bonnie and brother George.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:00 noon funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
