Richard Bruss died April 7, 2010 at his Ashippun home at the age of 72. He was born on August 6, 1937 in Milwaukee to Walter and Mildred (nee: Kulhanek) Bruss. He was a 1954 graduate of Juneau High School. On January 2, 1963 he married the former Janet Halstead. He had owned Randall Enterprises in West Allis and the Waukesha Vending until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, until he moved to Ashippun in 1995 and then became a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. He had a love for cars and was a member of the Nomads Car Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife Janet of Ashippun, along with their children Molly (Ray) Llanas of Waukesha, Cindy (Glenn) Harr of Jordan, MN, Jennifer Bruss of Twin Lakes, Daniel Bruss of Bloomer, Christopher Bruss of Hartland and Kate Bruss of Red Wing, MN. Dear grandfather of Carrie, Maddie, Teagen, Sophie, Destry and Jordan. He is further survived by his brother Wallace (late Doris) Bruss of Pewaukee, sister Shirley (late Russ) Druley of Waukesha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Janice Bruss as well as his parents. Visitation will be held Sunday April 11, 2010 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha from 3:00 PM until the 6:30 PM Rosary. Services will continue on Monday April 12, 2010 with 9:45 AM closing prayers at the funeral home followed by a procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha for the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Cemetery services will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
