Richard “Dick” R. Rauch of Waukesha died on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the age of 89. He was born in Milwaukee on May 29, 1929 the son of Frank and Gertrude (nee Lambert) Rauch. He was a 1947 graduate of West Division High School in Milwaukee. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a member of the 32nd Military Police Company in the Wisconsin National Guard from May of 1953 until being called to active duty in August of 1954 where he was assigned to the Army Security Agency. On November 24, 1973 he married his wife Lorrie and they moved to Waukesha in 1976. Dick worked for Magnetek as a supervisor and mechanical draftsman for many years, retiring in 1996.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Kristina Meridith of Waukesha and Dawn Segermark of St. Paul, MN; his grandsons Erik and Kyle Segermark; his sister Jean and brother-in-law Pete Spillius, and their sons Ted and George, and daughter Tina. He will also be missed by many dear friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorrie on December 23, 2002.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 5:00 p.m. followed by full military honors at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Private interment will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
