Richard Charles Kuster of Waukesha, was called home to the Lord surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday December 6, 2008. He was born in Milwaukee on July 30, 1922 the son of Ed and Marie Kuster. Dick was united in marriage to Dorothy Zeisler on April 7, 1951. He played French horn in the Milwaukee Symphony and the American Legion Blatz Band and first horn in the Waukesha Symphony when it began in 1947. He was retired from Best Engineering in New Berlin and proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Dick was a longtime and faithful member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend, Dorothy and their children: Chris (Rick) Marshall, Marcus (Brie) Kuster, Kathy (Bob) Rink and Carrie (Gerry) Majeskie, his brother Ron Kuster and grandchildren, Michael, Melissa and Daniel Marshall, Kayla Kuster, Brittany, Lauren and Jennifer Buscemi, Rachel and David Rink and Angela Majeskie. Special “Pa” to A.J. and Charlie. A service of Christian Burial will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 700 Beechwood Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Visitation will be at the church from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. The Rev. Arthur Koepsell officiating. Graveside services will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Avenue, Waukesha, on Friday, December 12th at 11:30 AM. Please meet the cemetery office.
