Richard Leblanc

October 12, 1928 — November 21, 2010

of Wauwatosa, departed this life, November 21, 2010 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital at the age of 82.  He was born on October 12, 1928 in Milwaukee, the son of Alfred and Regina (nee Manitzki) LeBlanc.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Marquette University. He went on to teach Industrial Arts at Riverside High School and Gaenslen School, retiring in 1994.  He enjoyed singing and was a member of several Milwaukee choirs.  He loved dancing and was the former President of the Interfaith Singles Dance Club.   He was a member of the Racine Penguin Players and St. Marcus Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.  He had been the treasurer for the Wisconsin Treasure Hunters Club for several years.  He will be sadly missed by his children Annette (Dan) Kirchen, Steve (Julie) LeBlanc, Michael (Le Ann) LeBlanc, Therese (Larry) Hoth and Mary (Adrian) Rhodes.  Dear grandfather of Joshua LeBlanc, Jerime (Jo) LeBlanc, Michael, Jr. (Claribel) LeBlanc, Daryl Kirchen, Roslyn Rhodes and Ashley LeBlanc.  Beloved great-grandfather of Zackary, Jacob and Sophia.  He is further survived by his sister Marlene (Charles) Stewart, former wife Louise LeBlanc, dear friend Gloria Mandella, nephews, other relatives and friends.  A celebration of Richards life will be held Saturday, December 4 beginning at 1:00 PM (visitation), with a memorial service at 2:30 to be held in the Garden Room at Boerner Botanical Gardens, in Whitnall Park, 9400 Boerner Dr., Hales Corners.     In lieu of flowers, donations to Casa Maria Hospitality House, 1131 N. 21st Street, Milwaukee, WI  53233-1110 appreciated. Private natural burial was held Tuesday November 23, at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
