Richard Paul Skenandore, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. He was born in Chicago, IL on July 5, 1949 the son of Burton and Lucinda (nee Cornelius) Skenandore. He was a 1967 graduate of Waukesha South High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1969 until 1971. Paul was a 41 year employee of the United States Postal Service where he worked as a mail carrier. He loved golfing, playing pool and watching football. Paul was always willing to help anyone and he will always be remembered as a loving father, brother and friend.
He will be sadly missed by his son Todd (Michael Smith) Skenandore of Vancouver, WA and his brothers and sisters, Judith (Dennis) Troemel of Waukesha; Cheryl (the late Paul) Skolaski of DePere, Burton (Jesse) Skenandore Jr. of Green Bay, Donald (Cheryl) Skenandore of Readstown and Donna (Gordon) Drake of Waukesha. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Janet.
A time to gather and celebrate Paul’s life will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Full military honors will conclude the visitation at the funeral home at 5:00PM. Memorials are appreciated to HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society), 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188.
