Robert "Bob" Dickert

Robert A. “Bob” Dickert, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the age of 94. He was born in Madison on December 28, 1916 the son of Henry and Agnes (nee Schmeltzer) Dickert. Bob was the owner and operator of the Whiteway at Goerke’s Corners. For the past eight years, Bob was a resident at Avalon Square. He will be sadly missed by his children: Sandra (Barry) Bast of Manitowoc, Michael (Carol) Dickert of Brookfield, Kathy (Michael) McCord of Clintonville and Kenneth (Patti) Dickert of Hartland, his ten grandchildren: Katherine (Tim Duggan) Bast, Bryan (Carrie) Bast, Elizabeth (James) Jenkins, Billy Dickert, Scotty Dickert, Meagan (Brian) Wolfe, Mindy McCord, Stacey Dickert, Corey (Lindsay) Dickert and Abbey Dickert, seven great-grandchildren: Samantha and Ben Bast, Caitlin, James and Graham Jenkins and Shane and Levi Duggan. He is further survived by his sister Lucille Gates of Whitewater, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth “Betty” and two sisters: Mary Specht and Florence Dickert. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Avalon Square, the Lutheran Home and Vitas Hospice for the wonderful care Bob received. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha. Rev.
