Robert “Bob” D. Kewan of Waukesha died on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Brookfield Rehab with his family by his side at the age of 77. He was born in Milwaukee on August 23, 1939 the son of Walter and Mary (nee Mikulovsky) Kewan. On October 14, 1961, he married Donna Rogers. Bob worked for Harnischfeger for many years and ended his career working for St. Camillus. He loved going up north and fishing and enjoyed bowling and playing handball.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years Donna of Waukesha, his children, Robin (the late William) Hancock of Racine, Mark (Mona) Kewan of Menomonee Falls, Ann (Tom) Hendrickson of Brooklyn Park, MN and Robert (Ronald Thomas) Kewan Jr. of Wauwatosa, his grandchildren Marcia (Bryan) Locke, Elizabeth (Garry) Meadows, Rhiannon (Mark) Arnson, Clinton Hancock, Nicholas Hendrickson, Hannah Hendrickson, Randy Kewan, Madison Kewan and Kayley Kewan and his great-grandchildren Lance, Brie, Stellah, Amayah and Zoey. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marian Moreau.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Brookfield Rehab for the care they provided to Bob and their family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Private interment will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Bob’s name are appreciated to the family.
