Robert "Bob" D. Schroeder

Robert “Bob” D. Schroeder, a lifelong Waukesha resident, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the age of 61. He was born in Waukesha on July 13, 1953 the son of Lorrin and Katherine “Kay” (nee Rowley) Schroeder. Bob was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ. He worked for many years at Machine Tool and for the past four years worked at MetalTek. Bob was a simple man who always put others before himself. He enjoyed hunting, playing pool, gambling at Ho-Chunk with his wife, and was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. Bob’s pride and joy was his three sons who meant the world to him. He loved being with his family and will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, son, brother and friend.

He will be forever missed by his beloved wife, Pam of Waukesha and their three sons, Pete (Amanda) Schroeder of California, Mark (Sarah) Schroeder of Waukesha and Ryan Schroeder of Waukesha. He was the dear son of Kay Schroeder of Waukesha and the proud grandfather of Cailin, Sydney and Jordan Schroeder. He is further survived by his sister Lorna (Larry) Anders of Waukesha, his brother Jamey (Laura) Schroeder of Waukesha, his sister-in-law Jayne (Scott) Herring of Horicon, his beloved dog, Lizzy along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Lorrin Schroeder.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 4:00 until 7:00PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 11:00AM until the time of the 12:00 noon funeral service. Reverend Brittany Barber will preside. Graveside services will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Bob was a casual man and the family encourages you to join them in wearing your favorite sports apparel or casual clothes.
