Robert “Bob” K. Gummo of Eagle passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Zilber Hospice in Wauwatosa at the age of 64 with his brother at his side. He was born in Milwaukee on December 15, 1954 the son of Andrew and Adell (nee Meyer) Gummo. On January 30, 1989 he married Jo Ann (nee Schroeder) in Waukesha. Robert “Bob” started 2 business from the ground up the first in the shop of his brother Ken and the 2nd with his longtime friend David. He loved MOPAR’s and with the help of his brother’s Jerry and Ken ( mosty Jerry ) and himself built his dream car 1968 Charger which he never thought he would ever see it done, let alone drive it . He did both. He showed his car and he won a few trophies at the shows. He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed making his own lures and fly’s. Bob was a very giving person always had time to listen and make you laugh right up to the end. There was never a time he did not ask you how you were doing no matter how he was doing. He loved his family unconditionally. He loved Joann and their dogs and spending time with everyone in his life. Bob always put others before himself.
He is survived by his sons, James Gummo of Watertown, and Steven ( Suzy) Gummo of Oconomowoc, step children Jason (Jennifer) Wicker of Littleton, CO and Michael (Cassandra) Biancuzzo of Waukesha, grandchildren Scarlett and Stetson Gummo, Cole and Owen Wicker. brothers and sisters Theresa (Gilbert) Lawrence of Madison, Ken (Marie) Gummo of Delafield, Debra Ralston of Butternut, Mary Ann Gummo of Princeton, Andrew “Jerry” (Cindy) Gummo of East Troy, and Sherry (Ron) Tank of Butternut, many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Adell (Del) his wife Jo Ann and his nephew George.
