Robert F. Jones

Robert F. Jones passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2018 in Brookfield, Wisconsin, at the age of 95. He was born September 2, 1922 in Billings, Montana the son of Fred T. Jones and Elizabeth M. Jones. Bob attended Billings Schools and graduated from Billings High School in 1940. He was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Bob worked for McKesson Drug Co. for 38 years serving as a sales rep in Helena, Bozeman, Lewistown and Billings. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge and Al Bedoo Shrine. Bob enlisted in the Army Air Corp in 1942, graduated from pilot training and served in the Southwest Pacific flying B-25’s during WWII.

Bob married Virginia Kay Vernes on September 5, 1942. He is survived by his wife of 75 years Kay, son, Bob and his wife Debbie, two granddaughters Nikki (Jeff), Kelly (Mike) and great-grandchildren Brodie, Jacob, Sam and Penelope.

Burial will be held at a later date in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Memorials are appreciated to the Al Bedoo Transportation Fund or the charity of your choice.
