Robert “Bob” Paul Maile, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at LindenGrove in Waukesha. He was almost 87 years old. He was born in Waukesha on November 1, 1925 the son of Clarence and Anna (nee Mueller) Maile. Some may remember him as the original owner of “Bob’s Glass Service”, first on Main Street and located now on West St. Paul Avenue for many years. When Bob sold the business, he and his wife Eleanora moved to Arizona to retire. Earlier in his life he was in the Marines, spending time in the Pacific on an island called Pelau during WWII. His wife passed away in 1998 and in 1999 he returned to Wisconsin to be closer to family. Bob is survived by his daughter Charlotte Haack, his sister Marion Hinze and brother John Maile, as well as by other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanora, brother Edward and his parents Clarence and Anna Maile. The family wishes to thank LindenGrove and Seasons Hospice for all their kind help and special care. There will be a gathering to honor Bob’s life on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM memorial service at the Prairie Home Cemetery Chapel, 605 S. Prairie Avenue, Waukesha.
