Rocco A. Caracci

Rocco A. Caracci, of Waukesha, died on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home at the age of 90. He was born in Waukesha on May 19, 1924 the son of Joseph and Antoinette Caracci. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. On May 19, 1951 he married Lena Panella; she preceded him in death fifteen years to the day of his death On April 30, 2000. He was a longtime employee of General Casting, retiring in 1986. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He will be sadly missed by his children Leonard (Jennifer) Caracci of Waukesha, Nicholas Caracci of Waukesha and Barbara “Bobbi” (Dale) Rohde of Waukesha. He was the dear grandfather of Jeffrey Shanklin Jr., Lee (Jai) Caracci, Nicholas (Marina) Caracci, Joseph (Mandi) Caracci, Ann (Ryan) Pannemann, Paul Caracci and Jill (Chris) Rohde and great-grandfather of Brandon, Andrew, Elizabeth, Fletcher, Jaxson and Lilly. He is further survived by his brothers Louis (Nettie) Caracci of Arizona, Dominic Caracci of Waukesha and Joseph Caracci of Waukesha, his sister Leva (the late Charles) McLaughlin of Waukesha, his sister-in-law Maime Caracci of Waukesha along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Lena, he was preceded in death by his brothers Albert (Nancy), Lawrence and James (Charmaine) and his granddaughter Tracey Rohde.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 4:00PM until the time of the 7:00PM memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha.
