Romelle M. Sabend

Romelle M. Sabend of Waukesha died on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital at the age of 94. She was born in Independence, WI on June 26, 1923 the daughter of George and Frances (nee Sylla) Gamroth. Romelle loved to go dancing and always looked forward to seeing her great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her kindness and big heart.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Sandy MacPherson of Waukesha, her son Art (Kathi) Sabend of Eagle and their father Joseph Sabend, her three grandchildren, Lisa Sabend, Julieann Sabend and Michael (Katie) Sabend and her two great-grandchildren, Logan and Hunter. She is further survived by her brother Arthur Gamroth of Brookfield along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Agnes Tomasicyk.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield from 1:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
