Ronald “Paul” Lynott Sr., of Waukesha, died Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his home at the age of 79. He was born on June 30, 1941, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of James and Marie (nee Mortensen) Lynott. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. On February 14, 1998 he married the former Cheri Weavers in New Berlin. He was a member of the Western Fair Association and owned and operated Gift World Products, Pearl Creation and L’Paige Lipstick and was currently still working. He enjoyed model railroads and playing the piano and accordion. He loved his family dearly, especially attending his grandchildren’s events.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Cheri of Waukesha, along with his children Tina Marie Lynott of Waterloo, IA, Raun Paul Lynott Jr. of Waterloo, IA, James Richard Lynott of MO, Leslie L. (Mary) Lynott of Streamwood, IL, Lechelle L. Schilz of Denver, CO, Toni Marie (Steve) Kraft of Pewaukee and Brian Robert (Amanda) Weick of Pewaukee; 18 grandchildren along with great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is further survived by his father and mother in law Robert K. (Genevieve) Weavers, sisters and brothers in law Bev Lynott, Wendy K. (Dennis) Sobczak, Gail L. (Wade) Balson and Pam A. (Robert) Frontzak, lifelong friend Irv Givot , nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother James Richard Lynott and sisters Katherine Maxwell and Ann Marie Kincaid.
Visitation will be at Weatherstone Church, 1500 S. West Lane, New Berlin, WI 53146 Thursday October 15, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM. Military Honors will follow the church service. Placement in the columbarium will take place Wednesday October 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. Memorials in his name are appreciated to Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 W. National Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53295.
