Ronald Earnest Moore, formerly of Wales, WI passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 in Sweetwater, TN. Ron and his wife Vivian retired to Loudon, Tennessee in 2004. He will be sorely missed by all of his friends and family and they are eternally grateful that he is now at peace. Ron is survived by his wife of 47 years, Vivian (nee Ramsey), son, Ronald Moore, daughter, Melissa (Mike) Goetz, grandchildren, Taylor and Logan Goetz, Destiny, Veda and Xanthia Moore. He is also survived by his mother, Donnie Faye Moore of Milford, Ohio, brothers, Don (Shirley) Moore of Ohio, Richard (Jerrie) Moore of Texas, Wendell (Sylvia) Moore of Georgia, and Russell (Carol) Moore of Ohio; nephews, Richard (Katrina) Moore of Ohio, Shayne (Carla) Moore of Kentucky and Jayson Moore, nieces, Denise Moore of Texas, Julie and Abbie Moore of Ohio, along with great-nieces and nephews . Ronald was also preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Ernest Moore. Ron was born on April 19, 1944 in Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky to Donnie Faye Harris and Wilbur Ernest Moore. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Vivian Lee Ramsey, on January 6, 1963 in Milford, Clermont County, Ohio. He served in the Army from 1962 – 1965. His career in the machine tool industry spanned 39 years. He belonged to numerous professional associations in that industry until his retirement in 2004. He loved to golf, especially with his son and buddies, and did as much fishing as he could during his years of retirement. He was a bowling coach at Hartbrook Lanes for over 25 years; and influenced many kids during that time. Spending time with his five grandchildren was the highlight of Ron’s life, they will miss their special “adventures” together with their grandpa, but know that he will be with them on all their adventures in the years to come. There will be a celebration of Ron’s life on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Randle –Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 pm Memorial Service.
