Ronald “Ron” D. Six, a long-time resident of Brookfield, WI, died on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at ManorCare Health Services in Appleton, WI at the age of 74. He was born on June 18, 1943 in Waukesha, WI to Clifford and Mary Christine (nee: Love) Six. He was a 1961 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and a 1966 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He married Mary Alice Inzeo at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waukesha on his birthday, June 18, 1966, ensuring he would never forget his anniversary. After being drafted, Ron served his country in Vietnam until his honorable discharge on December 9, 1968. Upon completion of his service, he resumed his career in accounting and retired from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2008. He was a member and neighbor of St. Luke Catholic Church in Brookfield where he ran bingo for a decade. More recently he was a member of St. Bernard Parish in Appleton. He coached all of his children in the Brookfield Soccer Association for many years as well as coaching them in youth basketball, baseball, and softball.
He will be sadly missed by his children David (Kimberly) Six of Danville, CA, Michael (Emily) Six of Greenville, WI, and Mary Ellen Six of Chicago, IL. He was a loving grandfather to Elena, Juliana, and Joshua Six. He is further survived by his siblings Thomas (Sally) Six of Green Valley, AZ and Victoria (Curt) Fernau of Show Low, AZ, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Alice, his parents, his niece Erin (Henigan) Douglas, and his cousin David L. Six, a WWII veteran with whom he took an Honor Flight.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM Vigil Service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S Grand Ave, Waukesha. Visitation continues Wednesday, April 18th from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral Mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N Calhoun Rd, Brookfield.
