Ronald “Ron” A. Weiss, of Harrisville, formerly of Waukesha, died suddenly but peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the age of 77. Ron passed away three days following the death of his wife of 42 years Carol whom he married on October 15, 1971. Ron was born in Waukesha on May 30, 1936 the son of Herman and Mary (nee Wisniewski) Weiss. Ron worked for Wisconsin Drill Head for many years. He was a lifelong member of the Waukesha Eagles Club. Ron enjoyed bowling, deer hunting, traveling to see his family and with his friends and attending family reunions. Ron will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He will be sadly missed by his children Rochella Sager of South Carolina and Rodney Sager, Brian Sager and Kevin Sager all of Waukesha. He was the grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters Laurie (Harold III) Buckett and Marylin (the late Bill) Kendall, his brother, Ken (Shirley Ramazini) Weiss along with many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Carol, he was preceded in death by his sister Carol and his parents.
Visitation for Ron and Carol will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until the time of the 1:00PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Entombment will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
