Rosario De La Paz

Rosario De La Paz, age 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2024, at her residence in Waukesha. Born on June 4, 1958, in Puerto Rico to Rafael and Paula De La Paz, Rosario led a fulfilling life surrounded by her loved ones. She dedicated her career to serving as the cleaning service manager for U.S. Filter.

Rosario's vibrant spirit was evident in her numerous interests and hobbies. She found joy in visiting the gym, going on bike rides, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles. Her love for movies, salsa and Motown music added a musical flair to her life. Known for her green thumb and her love for cooking shined through during holiday seasons, particularly Thanksgiving and Christmas.

A devoted mother to Angel Cintron, Frank DeLeon, and Nicolas DeLeon, Rosario cherished her role as a grandmother to Javier and Ciara Cintron and great-grandmother to Angel, Ariel, and Santi Cintron. She is also survived by her brothers Rafael De La Paz Jr., Pedro (Miriam) De La Paz, Rick (Jean) De La Paz nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A visitation in memory of Rosario will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue Waukesha from 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral Mass. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. 

Rosario's legacy of love, creativity, and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in serenity as her spirit continues to shine brightly amongst us all.
