Rose Marie Godina

Rose Marie Godina, a resident of Dousman, passed away on Friday, June 14,2024, at the age of 66. Born on February 9, 1958, in Waukesha to Jose and Maria Luisa (nee: Ramos) Luera.

 Rose dedicated 30 years of her life to Wisconsin Bell (now AT&T). Known for her selfless nature and unwavering love for her family and friends, Rose will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife and mother. Her greatest joy came from spending time with grandchildren. She was a pillar of strength for her family and extended her caring nature by looking after her Aunt Victorina Ramos for many years.

In addition to her caring ways, Rose had diverse interests including puzzles, reading, collecting Green Bay Packer memorabilia and shot glasses, as well as enjoying tequila, dancing, and a good cup of coffee. She will be remembered as an excellent cook with a remarkable listening ear and the most amazing laugh.

She is loved and will be sadly missed by her husband, Ignacio Godina of Dousman, her children, Ernesto J. (May) Mireles, Ignacio Mario Godina, Jr., Vicente Godina, Raquel S. (Victor) Godina. She is the proud grandmother to Felicia Mireles, Lisandra Mireles, Ernesto J Mireles, Jr., Alexavier Perez, Christian Perez, Matteo Perez and special great-grandmother to Somaya Mireles, Alonzo Mireles, Amiyahz Mireles, Anais Lopez, Saviano Lopez, Jha’mari Mireles, Bella Dillworth, Mark Springfield, Jr., and Jaqueline Springfield. She is further survived by her brothers, Guadalupe (Dawn) Luera, Jose Raul (Julie) Luera and her sister Maria Luisa (the late Rodolfo) Flores. Other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for Rose will take place on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home located at 1110 S. Grand Ave starting from 12:00 PM (noon) until the funeral service at 4:00 PM. 

Rose will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
