Roy E. Bennett, Jr of Waukesha, 83, died on Monday, September 14, 2009 at LindenGrove. He was born in Harrisburg, IL on March 21, 1926 to Roy E. and Lillian (nee:Sullivan) Bennett, Sr. Mr. Bennett proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and was employed as a tool maker at Aero Sharp in Wales retiring in 1977. He loved karaoke, music, dancing, singing and enjoyed his time at the Caring Place. Survivors include his three loving children: Michael R. (Leanne) Bennett of Town of Genesee; Faith E. Raymer of Waukesha; Fredrick S. (Mary) Bennett of Waukesha; brother,David Bennett of Saginaw, Michigan, sister, Valerie (Dale) of Saginaw, Michigan; four wonderful grandchildren: Leah (Dwayne) Schears of Mukwonago; Christopher J.E. (Christel) Bennett of Milwaukee; Edward (Colleen) Michaelis of Wauwatosa and Monica (Jessie) Boyajian of Wauwatosa. He is further survived by six great grandchildren: Brandon and Joshua Schears; Spencer, Sadie Jo and Eli Michaelis and Lillian Bennett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Bennett, who died on December 27, 1999; his brother, Robert and sister Laura. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. from 4-8PM. Services continue on Thursday at the funeral home with visitation from 10AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service. Interment with full military honors will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
