Waukesha-Life long Waukesha resident, Roy L. Hill, age 84 died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 28, 1922 in Waukesha to Wallace and Luella (Downey) Hill. He owned and operated Fire Equipment Company, Sales and Service in Waukesha for 30 years. He had also worked for many years at General Fire Equipment Company in Milwaukee. Roy was a 60 year member of the Waukesha Masonic Lodge #37, a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and of the Tripoli Shine. In 1980-81 he was the Worthy Patron of the Order of Eastern Star, Pewaukee Chapter #190. He is survived by his wife Helen (nee Scheets) of Waukesha; his stepson Leland (Linda) Martinez of the Town of Genesee, seven grandchildren; Lisa (Craig) Samanske, David Dreger, Colleen Dreger, Leah Martinez, Jeramiah Martinez, Alysha Weise and Lisa Anderson and six great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. Visitation for Mr. Hill will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2006 from 2:00 P.M. until the 4:00 P.M. Masonic Services by Waukesha Lodge #37 at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue. Burial will take place Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Prairie Home Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
