Ruby A. Caucutt

Ruby A. Caucutt, of Genesee Depot, died on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at her home at the age of 91. She was born in LaFarge, WI on February 12, 1923 the daughter of Caleb and Emma (nee Unbehaun) Sneath. On December 26, 1943 she married Arwin Caucutt in LaFarge; he preceded her in death on July 29, 1988. Ruby was a graduate of the Whitewater Teachers College and taught in the Hartland School District for more than 20 years. Along with her husband, Ruby loved traveling throughout the United States. She also enjoyed bowling and golfing. Ruby had been a longtime member of First Congregational Church of Genesee UCC.

She will be sadly missed by her son Gordon (Liz) Caucutt of Waukesha and her son-in-law Jerry Curtis of Mukwonago. She was the proud grandmother of Jackie (Dave Vegafria) Curtis, Tim (Eve) Curtis, Michelle Caucutt-Gasser and Cori (Tim) Denk, great-grandmother of Jordan Freitag, Stevie Redd, Alix Caucutt, Dani Gasser, Cale Denk and Zoe Denk and great-great-grandmother of Riley. She is further survived by her sister Delia (Lester) Lathrop along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Arwin and her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Charlene Curtis January 23, 2010, her twin sister Ruth Lathrop and brothers Gaylord and Clarence Sneath.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 10:00AM until the time of the 12:00 Noon funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Reverend Joe Medina will preside. Entombment will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Memorials in Ruby’s name are appreciated to the charity of the donor’s choice.
