Ruby L Silva

Ruby L. Silva of Waukesha passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa at the age of 57 after being involved in an accident earlier in March. She was born in Waukesha on October 3, 1966, the daughter of Alexander and Claudina (nee Gaitan) Silva. She was a 1985 graduate of Waukesha North High School, and during her life she held many jobs, most recently working as a nurse’s aide at an assisted living facility.  She enjoyed Thursday’s spending time at the Spring City Corner Clubhouse at The First Baptist Church in Waukesha. 

She will be sadly missed by her children Amy (Tyler) Gilmore of Waukesha, and Kevin Silva of Waukesha, her brother Alexander (Alicia) Silva of Waukesha, sisters: Liza (Demetrio) Ramirez of Milwaukee, Angelina (Aaron) Karl of Lannon, and Aurora Hochschild. Ruby was looking forward to the birth in September of her first grandchild.  She is further survived by her mother Claudina Silva of Waukesha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Alexander. 

Graveside services will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday April 9, 2024, at Prairie Home Cemetery 605 S. Prairie Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186.   Please no flowers, If desired, memorials are appreciated to the family.
