Ruth Vivian Hughlett Roberts, of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Three Pillars Masonic Home at the age of 83. She was born in Waukesha on April 30, 1931 the daughter of William and Ethel (nee Spillman) Hughlett. She was a 1949 graduate of Waukesha High School. On October 20, 1956 she married Kenneth “Ken” Roberts at First Congregational Church in Hartland; he preceded her in death on September 4, 2012. Ruth worked at Rhode Pharmacy then after further schooling with the Waukesha Women’s Center she worked at Electrol as an assembler. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Hartland.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons: John (fiancée Lisa Vieth) Roberts of Waukesha, Gene Roberts of Dousman and Gerald (Mary) Roberts of Milwaukee, her two grandsons, Timothy and James Roberts and two honorary grandchildren, Sarah (Timothy Riordan) Vieth and Adam Vieth. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Mary Hughlett, brother-in-law Harold Washburn, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Ken, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas (Dorothy) Hughlett and Charles Hughlett.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 4:00 until the time of the 7:00PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Rev. Bill Petterson will preside. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10th at 11:00AM at Salem Cemetery in Wales. Please meet at the cemetery.
