Sandra L. Crawford, of Waukesha died on April 10, 2011 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc at the age of 72. She was born in Waukesha December 19, 1938, the daughter of Charles and Emma (Kreidler) Hetzel. She was an Air Force veteran serving from 1958 to 1959. On April 18, 1959 she married Johnny Crawford at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. She was a lifelong member at St. Joseph Catholic Church. As a Licensed Practical Nurse she worked for Dr. Warren Smirl on Clinton Street and then for Dr. Michael Long when he took over Dr. Smirl’s patients. She will be sadly missed by her husband Johnny of Waukesha and their children Johnny (Debbie) Crawford of Town of Vernon, Kathleen (Brent) Hoen of Waukesha, Elizabeth (Eric) Nelson of Waukesha, Charles (Mary) Crawford of Hahira, GA and Connie (Mark) Garrett of Fishers, IN. Dear daughter of Emma Keske of Waukesha. Loving grandmother of Kari, Tricia, J.J., Jennifer (Aaron Zsori), Jessica, Sarah and Chad Crawford, Derek (Melissa) Zeck, Byron (Leslie) Young, Brandon (Alma) Young, Kathryn Garrett and Tonya Heinzen. Beloved great grandmother of Tamara and Katherine Erickson, Bryanna and Madison Young, Kaydence Crawford and Eli Heinzen. She is further survived by her siblings Connie (Duane) Butolph of Plainfield, Bob (Andrea) Hetzel of Phoenix, AZ, Claudia (Mike) Kaiser of Tuscon, AZ, Steven (Lynn) Hetzel of Cape Cod, MA and Teri Cotton of Dousman; sisters-in-law Betty Dunlap of Maryville, TN and Ollie Jones of Alcoa, TN; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Charles, twin sister, Judith Martin; father and mother-in-law Lonas and Lucille Crawford and brothers-in-law Joseph Crawford and Lawrence Martin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14 from 4:00 pm until the 8:00 pm Vigil Service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Services continue at the funeral home on Friday, April 15 with prayers beginning at 9:45 am followed by the procession to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha for the 10:30 am Funeral Mass. Entombment with full military honors will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
