Sandra Marie Hase

Sandra Marie Hase, of the town of Genesee, died peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at her home at the age of 69 years. She was born in Elk Mound, WI on February 24, 1944 the daughter of Norman and Dorothy (nee Grutt) Schrantz. On October 17, 1964 she married Wilbur Hase in Elk Mound, WI. Sandra worked for Farm & Fleet for 33 years. Following her retirement she worked part-time for Old World Wisconsin. She was a member of the Salvation Army and of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion DJ Martin Post #8. Sandra was a devout and faithful Catholic and was a longtime member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Brookfield. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and dear friend and would do anything for anyone. She will always be remembered as a very kind and gentle woman.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 49 years, Wilbur of the town of Genesee and their children, Teresa Crossman of Hartland, Wilbur Hase Jr. of North Prairie, Jennifer Hase of town of Genesee and Jolene Hase of Waukesha. She was the cherished grandmother of Samantha Hase, Alexandra Hase, Emily Kochanik, Marina Hase and Shyann Marquardt. She is further survived by her nephew Mike Schrantz, her niece Tammy Paul along with other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Owens and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Services will continue in Elk Mound on Thursday, February 6th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 413 W. Menomonie Street, Elk Mound, WI 54739 with visitation from 11:00AM until the time of the 12:00 noon funeral Mass. Burial will immediately follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
