Sandra "Sandee" E. Saunders

Longtime Waukesha artist Sandra “Sandee” Saunders, age 82, died on Sunday December 24, 2023.  She was born on October 3, 1941 to Truman Arthur and Elizabeth (nee: Neuses) Saunders.  Sandee, with her strong and engaging personality, leaves a life full of impressions that she  made with everyone she interacted with. A skilled artist in many formats, she captured the beauty of her surroundings and its people, all of which was recognized by many organizations in the area where her art was exhibited and sold.

Sandee wishes to thank the loving care provided for many years by her “angels,” St Vincent de Paul and the many priests of St. Mary Catholic Church in Waukesha.         

“A life through Art Memorial Tribute”- an artistic glimpse into the life of Sandra Saunders will be on display at People’s Park, 337 W. Main Street Waukesha from February 20 – March 12, 2024.  Burial will take place on  Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery.
