Sandra “Sandy” Faye (nee: Reim) Bosin, age 83 passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, at Brookdale Senior Living, Eagan, MN. She was born in Appleton, WI on July 29, 1941. She married Ronald L. Bosin on August 21,1965, who preceded her in death on August 22, 1999.
Sandy graduated in 1963 from UW-Lacrosse and was a founding president for Alpha Phi sorority. She received her Master of Science in education (guidance) degree from UW-Oshkosh in 1969. She was a founding member of the Appleton Chapter of the Society of Compassionate Friends and president and membership director of the Vagabond Social and Ski Club. Professionally, she was the president of the Wisconsin Career Development, and the midwest chairperson for the American Counseling associations. While living in Pewaukee, she was a member of the Waukesha Sunshine Rotary, serving as president and assistant governor for the Rotary Area 5 of Waukesha County. Once retired from her educational counseling career of 35 years, she continued to teach water fitness and served as a WIAA swim official for 30 years. She was a faithful member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Sandy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, friends and playing golf, tennis and pickleball. She served on the board of directors for the Pickleball Boomers at Moreland Tennis and Picklelball Club. She also enjoyed traveling and she visited all seven continents.
Sandy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Sarah Bosin and grandchildren Andrew and Laura Bosin. She is further survived by her brother-in-law Mark (Cindy) Bosin, sisters-in-law Kay Reim and Jackie (John) Stingle, nieces Amy (Eric) Handler, Jenny (Joe) Tenor, nephew Doug (Jen) Stingle and foster daughter Theresa Raedts.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Hattie and Clarence Reim, husband, Ron, infant son, Nathan, and brother, DuWayne “Duke” Reim.
A visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025, starting at 8:59 am (visitation), 10:29 am (funeral service) at Shepherd of the Hills Church, Pewaukee, WI. A burial, with a small grave side service, will be conducted at 1:29 pm on Saturday February 22, 2025, located at Appleton Highland Memorial Park in Appleton WI.
