Santa “Vicky” Lugo of Waukesha, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 77. She was born on August 6, 1933 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Indalecio and Tomasita (Ocasio Matos) Lugo. As a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Vicky was very active with the Guadalupe Society. She has volunteered many hours at St. Vincent de Paul and La Casa de Esperanza, especially in the daycare. She will be fondly remembered by her children: Hector (Nancy) Mojica, Jr. of New Berlin, Joyce Mojica of Slinger, Daniel Mojica of Madison, Alecs Mojica of Alexandria, VA, Francisco Mojica Lugo of Milwaukee and Isabel Mojica of Oshkosh; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She will be also remembered by her siblings: Carmen “Millie” Lugo (Victor Cruz) of FL, Sylvia Lugo of Puerto Rico, Donicia “Sonia” Mercado (Franc Perez) of New York, Elba (Juan) Serrano of Puerto Rico, Indalecio “Tite” Lugo of New York, Lydia “Narda” (Ray Romero) Martinez of FL, Hector “Papo” Martinez of New York, Maria de los Angeles “Tati” (Elias) Martinez of Puerto Rico; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hector Sr., sisters: Heidi and Luz Maria; and brother-in-law, Reynaldo Rivera Troche. A mass will be offered in Vicky’s honor at a later date at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waukesha. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by a celebration of her life at 1:30 PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Waukesha, La Casa de Esperanza, or to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
