Sarah Enid Leiske

Sarah Enid Leiske, of Waukesha, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at LindenGrove Healthcare Center at the age of 101. She was born on February 8, 1914 in Cowden, IL to Edward and Sarah Emma (nee Wonus) Nance. Enid graduated from Cowden High School in 1932 and then attended the School of Cosmetology in Decatur, IL. She married Harold Leiske on March 1, 1937 and they moved to Waukesha in 1940, joining the First United Methodist Church in 1945. Enid enjoyed bowling with a senior group, volunteering at the Northview County Home then at LindenGrove and volunteering at her church.

Beloved mother of Paul (Jutta) Leiske and Judy (Jeffrey) Skore both of Waukesha. Loving grandmother to David (Julisa) Leiske of Waukesha, Holly (Patrick) Meyer of Lakeville, MN and Scott (Dana) Dallmann also of Lakeville, MN and her step-grandchildren, Michael (Sue) Quam and David (Donna) Quam. Special great-grandmother to Brianna Leiske, Katelyn Little and Taylor Leiske, Emily and Avery Meyer and Madison, Abigail and Dylan Dallmann. She was preceded in death by her husband and her two sisters, Irene Cayce and Vernelle McCormick.

Enid wished to thank Dr. Robert Schellinger and the pastoral staff of First United Methodist Church for their care.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha from 10:00AM until the time of the 11:30AM funeral service. Reverend Dan Schwerin will preside. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186.
