Sharlotte "Billie" E. Beyerlein, age 106, passed away September 20, 2023, at Avalon Square in Waukesha where she had resided since 2007. Billie (nickname since childhood) was born Sharlotte Elizabeth Redman on May 19, 1917 in French Lick, Indiana. She was the second of four daughters born to Robert Luther Redman and Geneva Pearl (Moery) Redman. She was a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star as were her parents. After high school she moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana to live with a cousin and worked as a credit manager. While in Fort Wayne she met Earl Beyerlein in church and they married June 24, 1940. As their family grew they lived in various locations including in Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan before their final move from Racine to Waukesha in 1965. In the 1970’s Earl consulted at foundries overseas and he and Billie lived for several months in Calcutta (now Kolkata), India and several years near Warsaw, Poland. She was proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and trying to maintain contact between generations.
Billie was predeceased by her parents and sisters, her husband Earl and son Gordon’s wife, Cathie. She is survived by her sons, Gordon, John (Linda Sennott) and Bruce (Jan), her grandchildren Jeremy (Sonja), Jacob (Amanda) and Mary (boyfriend Dan Stigler), great grandchildren Joseph, Elise, Ariella, Samantha, James, Malachi, Ezekiel and Jennifer and many nieces and nephews.
