Shirley A. Phebus, of Waukesha, died Friday, March 27, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born on December 14, 1928, in Gladstone, MI, the daughter of Philip and Julia (nee Mattila) Martin. On May 14, 1960 she married Malcolm Phebus in Gladstone, MI. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was very dedicated to her family.
She will be sadly missed by her children Anne Marie Phebus of Waukesha, Dru (Sarah Wills) Phebus of Ridgefield, CT, Jill (Joe) Grimes of Park Rapids, MN, Jay Phebus of Waukesha and Lynn Phebus of Waukesha. Dear grandmother of Jacob, Anna, Emily and Megan Grimes and Will and Grayson Phebus. She is further survived by her sister Nancy Murphy of New Berlin, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm on August 12, 2000 and her brother Ronald “Pepper” Martin.
