Shirley Ann Slattery age 77 died peacefully on May 2, 2007 at LindenGrove Health Care Center. She was born in Green Bay on July 27, 1929 to George D. and Nettie (nee: Doenitz) Slattery. Shirley was a 1948 graduate of Waukesha High School and was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her sister Marilyn (Robert) DuByne of Waco, TX and her brother Charles (Bonnie) Slattery of Lee's Summit, MO; nieces and nephews: Rob DuByne of Waco, TX; Lauretta DuByne of Houston, TX; Chris (Brian) Beam, Colleen North, Brian (Robin) Slattery and Kevin Slattery all of Kansas City, MO; great nieces and nephews: Alex North, Porter Slattery and Cameron Slattery. She is further survived by cousins other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nettie Slattery. A Celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. from 6:00-8:00 PM. with a parish vigil service at 7:45 PM. Services continue on Friday, May 11, 2007 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial of cremated remains will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials to the charity of donor's choice are appreciated.
