Stanley O. Jorgensen, age 84 of Waukesha, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Woodland Health Care Center. He was born on August 26, 1922 in Pine River, Wisconsin, the son of Oliver Randall Jorgensen and Walborg (nee: Jensen) Jorgensen. He was united in marriage to Margaret Wagner on August 31, 1957 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Whitewater. He also served in the US Army during WWII. Stanley was a Firefighter for the Waukesha Fire Department for 29 years before his retirement, and was proud to be one the first paramedics in the city of Waukesha. He was also a retiree of the YMCA. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, hunting, swimming, and also being a pilot. Stanley will be sadly missed by wife, Margaret of Waukesha; 9 children: Christine (Arturo) Rendon of TN, Gary Jorgensen of Milwaukee, Charlene Hammer of the Virgin Islands, Ken (Janet) Hudon-Jorgensen of Utah, Randie Jorgensen of Waukesha, Joel (Nancy) Jorgensen of Waukesha, Colleen (fiancé Dave Tyrrell) Fullhart of Waukesha, Greg (Chinchi) Jorgensen of North Prairie, and Mary Beth (Marsh) Smith of Colorado; 10 grandchildren: Renee, Brian, Elizabeth, Byron, Monique, Gwen, Kaitlin, Michael, Megan, and Amanda; 3 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Rosemary; his sister, Marie Price; and his parents. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha.
