Stephen M. Sheridan

Stephen M. Sheridan of Waukesha, formerly of Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 following a short illness at the age of 66. He was born in Waukesha on May 31, 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Delores (nee Stark) Sheridan, His Aunt Jude Sheridan, and Edna and Anthony Calvano. He was also preceded in death by his father in law Paul Abplanalp and brother in law Don Abplanalp. Steve was a 1970 graduate of Waukesha South High School. On July 21, 2006 he married his beloved wife Sue (nee Abplanalp) and quickly became part of her family. He loved to fly model airplanes with his friend Bob Morris. He loved to read, watch car races for hours and restore his old camero. They became a “house divided “ on the days the Cowboys played the Packers.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 12 years, Sue of Waukesha and her daughters, Carolee Beaster of Waukesha and Amy (Robert) Burns of Waukesha. He was the proud step-grandfather of Kyra Kramer, Marissa and Jacob Hernandez and Parker Burns. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Jean Abplanalp, brother in law David Abplanalp (Sherry), sister in law Linda Engels (Tim)… and his beloved dog Buddy.
Steve worked many years at Flight Safety as their videographer and photographer, and later became self employed.
Honoring Steve’s wishes, no services will be held. A private gathering will be held by family.
