Steven "Steve" Faust

Of the Town of Genesee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at home with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with ALS at the age of 48.  He was born on January 17, 1961 in Waukesha the son of Eustace and Marilyn (nee Bauer) Faust.  On December 6, 1986 he married Susan Mater at St. Mary’s Visitation Parish in Elm Grove.  For over 23 years, Steve was a dedicated employee of Waukesha Engine where he enjoyed racing go-carts for the Waukesha Engine Team.  He enjoyed spending time at his family’s lake home.  Steve will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his bravery until the end.  His love and friendship will be deeply missed by many.  He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Susan and their two children: son Michael and daughter Carolyn all of the Town of Genesee, his mother Marilyn of Elm Grove, his sister Jeanne (Tom) Armstrong of Elm Grove, and brothers; Robert (Deirdre) Faust and John (Cheryl) Faust both of Brookfield.  He is further survived by many other relatives, friends, neighbors, to which the family thanks for all their care and support.  He was preceded in death by his father Eustace on May 14, 2007.
